5 Reasons Why Golf is Better than Sex

©2014 Pessimist incarnate

There are two things what have really inspired me to write this article. The first one is the fact that somehow I have managed to have more great rounds of golf than great rounds of Sex …  Also I have heard quite a few golfers having a say on this thing’ and many of them have found a real deep satisfaction and peace on the golf course, which makes me wonder is it really better and if so, then how come ?

Now, as far I am concerned the level of satisfaction is comparable in both games but wins the one with less side effects of course. Forgive me ladies, but in that case I must confirm that the winner is golf indeed. Hows that? Well, let me explain it to you all briefly:

1. Booking works for Golf much better. I mean if You book your teetime, it is always there for you but with Sex you hardly can make any sort of bookings. It is either happening or not. Also, She can always find something else to do instead, like go shopping, watch the movie or the worst senario – just having a headache …

Golfing in Estonia – Are You serious?

Wednesday, April 11th, 2012

Yeah, I guess I am although there is still a lot to do before we can say that all things are working as they should be.  Spring has arrived yet another junk of snow has dropped down by Easter Sunday and it rather looked like Christmas Eve – nice and peaceful…

EGCC in Spring - by Mari Suursalu © 2012

So, we still got piles of snow about and only few ranges are opened. EGCC has postponed its first tournament – the Links Masters for a week and it might be another … But surely it is good news for TopGolf where temperatures are soaring around 20s and no heavy winds about :)

The Masters 2012 had its suprises as always, but Viasat Golf did not show up much interest about Baltic states and there was no live coverage. Surely there has been a disapointment amongst the folks. I guess it would be norm if we had the biggest annual tournament live on our national tv with comments in estonian.  So far – It is just a dream, which is too hard to crack even for Viasat Golf

But the good news is that Sun is working well and snow is melting finally. As our Golfing Season 2012 gets underway, we have some important tournaments goming up this year like European Mid-Amateur Championship at  EGCC from 7-9th June and Estonian Amateur Open 2012 at Saare GC from 6-8th July. In addition to that we got more than 50 tournaments in total marked at this seasons calendar. So, there is a plenty of golf you can play & see live in Estonia. As Summer gets busy I recon it is good time to make your bookings now …

But my 2 favourite pieces of news this Spring are: Estonian Junior golfers have been to their very first training camp at Marbella and Estonian Golf School has started its first Season. Yeah, it is pretty obvious if we would like to come & play on the big screen – we need to find and train our young talents as well as we can.

Happy Golfing folks !
