5 Reasons Why Golf is Better than Sex

©2014 Pessimist incarnate

There are two things what have really inspired me to write this article. The first one is the fact that somehow I have managed to have more great rounds of golf than great rounds of Sex …  Also I have heard quite a few golfers having a say on this thing’ and many of them have found a real deep satisfaction and peace on the golf course, which makes me wonder is it really better and if so, then how come ?

Now, as far I am concerned the level of satisfaction is comparable in both games but wins the one with less side effects of course. Forgive me ladies, but in that case I must confirm that the winner is golf indeed. Hows that? Well, let me explain it to you all briefly:

1. Booking works for Golf much better. I mean if You book your teetime, it is always there for you but with Sex you hardly can make any sort of bookings. It is either happening or not. Also, She can always find something else to do instead, like go shopping, watch the movie or the worst senario – just having a headache …

As a lot of golf academies are located in America, there is also a rising trend that more and more young players want to go there. So it seems to be a cool and reasonable thing to do as many clubs in the U.S. have a great record and traditions to raise PGA tour players. As it is very much the target for our folks as well, no wonder why some go this way …

Erik is playing at the International Junior Golf Tour’s event at Port Royal G.C. on Hilton Head Island ...

So has done one of our young talents – Erik Tiitus, 17 who rolled on to the grade 11 at the Hank Haney International Junior Golf Academy in January. This is already his 5th semester with folkes from 27 countries across 5 continents.  Each day, Erik receives instruction in full swing, short game, course management, fitness training, mental preparation and college placement from Hank Haney certified coaches. Every 4-6 weeks, Hank works with Erik when he visits Hilton Head.

Hank Haney IJGA opened in 1995 and several graduates now play on the PGA and LPGA Tours in addition to top NCAA Division I schools. Hank Haney, former coach to Tiger Woods, serves as director of instruction. His students have gone on to win every major championship in professional, collegiate, amateur and junior golf.

From September until May, students compete on the International Junior Golf Tour. More than 60 two- and three-day weekend tournaments are held annually.

The full-time golf program consists of spending one half day on golf instruction. For the second half, students in grades five through 12 attend Heritage Academy to fulfill their academic requirements. Its menu includes extensive offerings in college preparatory and honors courses.

Hank Haney IJGA is the world’s only academy to combine training, academics and competition for serious players.

The first round of 140th Open Championship in Sandwich, has proved that there are amateurs out there who can play as well as pros !

Tom Lewis has impressed even American veteran golfer Tom Watson in the way he played yesterday. He hasn’t played so well today but still doing very well indeed ! The British Open Championships  or simply The Open is the oldest and the only major played outside the US. Lewis scored 65, which is  the lowest Open round ever by an amateur player. The Claret Jug will find its honourable winner on Sunday afternoon, weather premitting of course :)  Fotos of the Champs are available on Facebook and you can follow the Livestream via official homepage as long as the play is on.
